The Blood Moon Event in Grow a Garden transforms the Roblox sky into a crimson glow during specific nights, spawning rare seeds, mutated plants, and exclusive rewards across the garden. Considering all the community feedback, the developers of Grow a Garden decided to expand the nighttime event and make it possible for players to earn Night Seed packs and Night Eggs outside the Lunar Moon reward track. Hence, now we can experience a brand new timed event, called the Blood Moon event.
Unlike the regular nighttime event in the game, when the regular moon rises every hour, the Blood Moon has a 33% chance to spawn instead of a normal night. This means it occurs every 3 hours on average; I’ve experienced around three Blood Moon events so far in the game.
Moreover, unlike the normal night that lasts for 10 minutes, the Blood Moon event lasts for 15 minutes, painting the sky a deep crimson hue.
What Mutation Do You Get During the Blood Moon Event
During the Blood Moon event, players receive a special mutation that enhances plant growth and boosts resource production. This mutation causes plants to develop unique glowing traits, making them stand out in the dark red glow of the Blood Moon. It also increases harvest yields and temporarily speeds up growth cycles, allowing players to gather more materials before the event ends.
