Minecraft fans, mark your calendars-Mojang has just revealed the date for Minecraft Live 2025, promising fresh updates, exclusive announcements, and a closer look at the future of the iconic sandbox game.
Minecraft Live 2025 Event Date
Minecraft Live 2025 is officially set to take place on October 18, 2025. The annual event will be streamed online across major platforms, allowing players and fans to tune in from anywhere. Mojang has confirmed that the show will feature updates on upcoming game features, community highlights, and a new mob vote, continuing the tradition of celebrating Minecraft’s creativity and global fanbase.
Mojang confirms the Minecraft Live Event of 2025 will take place on March 22, 2025, at 1 PM ET (or 10:00 AM PT). Here is the official trailer, which announces the date and time of the event at the very end of the video.
Similar to last year’s Minecraft Live Trailer, the description of this YouTube video states, “We’ll feature never-before-seen game drop content, go direct to our developers for the top-secret insights, and let you know what’s happening in the wider world of Minecraft.”

It must be noted that Mojang has changed its traditional single massive yearly update into smaller, frequent game drops throughout the year. Moreover, we have seen this change happening since the last game drop that introduced the Pale Garden biome.
What new features in Copper Age update
The Copper Age update (Minecraft 1.21.9), released September 30, 2025, for both Java and Bedrock Editions, centers on expanding copper’s utility with new blocks, mobs, tools, and mechanics.
New Copper Blocks
Copper blocks now include versatile decorations and utilities that oxidize over time, similar to existing copper. Key additions feature Copper Torches, Copper Bars, Copper Chains, and Copper Lanterns for lighting and building; Copper Chests that interact with golems for sorting; and new Shelves for storage.
Copper Golem Mob
Players craft the Copper Golem by placing a carved pumpkin or jack o’ lantern on a copper block. This mob autonomously sorts items from Copper Chests into nearby chests by type, oxidizes like copper (wax to prevent), and turns into a statue if fully oxidized.
Tools and Armor
Copper introduces craftable tools (sword, pickaxe, etc.) and full armor sets positioned between stone and iron in stats, smeltable for nuggets. Copper horse armor appears in loot like iron variants, and mobs can spawn equipped with it.
Other Changes
Dye textures updated for accessibility; End dimension gains “end flashes” skylight; minor tweaks like improved portal mechanics, fire interactions, and sign text components enhance gameplay.
How to craft copper golem
Craft a Copper Golem by placing a Carved Pumpkin or Jack o’ Lantern on top of any Copper Block. This instantly spawns the golem and converts the copper block into a matching Copper Chest.
Materials Needed
Obtain a Copper Block by smelting 9 Copper Ingots (mined from Copper Ore using a stone pickaxe or better) in a crafting table. Get a Carved Pumpkin by using shears on a regular pumpkin, or craft/use a Jack o’ Lantern instead-any oxidation level (regular, exposed, weathered, or oxidized) works for color variations.
Crafting Steps

Place the Copper Block on the ground.

Position the Carved Pumpkin directly on top.

The Copper Golem appears immediately, ready to sort items from its Copper Chest into nearby chests by type.
Additional Notes
Golems oxidize over time like copper (use honeycomb to wax and pause it, axe to scrape); full oxidation turns them into decorative statues, reversible by scraping with an axe.
